Entec Launches New Flood Website
Entec has launched a website intended to develop a space for creative debate on the future of flood risk management in the UK. As well as pulling together news, opinion and interesting resources on flood risk as a new information hub, its aim is to encourage discussion within the flood risk management community and everyone else with a stake in the flooding agenda.
The site includes a variety of thought-provoking material on flood risk, including:
A section of the website will build into a collection of material looking ahead to the future of flood risk management, aiming to answer questions like: What’s next after the Pitt review? What will climate change mean to the flooding agenda? What are the key players going to do about it? Entec is also aiming to stimulate new thinking for flood risk management in the UK, which started with a creative workshop in September 2008, and will use the site to share ideas and assess their potential.
