Entec Appoints New Technical Director

Entec has appointed David Scott as Technical Director for business development in energy and environment. Based in Newcastle, David will be responsible for a range of energy and environmental activities with a focus on renewable energy and sustainability.

David has over 20 years experience in the development and commercialisation of both products and services to a wide range of clients.  He joins Entec from PERA where he worked in the Environmental & Sustainable Energy Technologies group for Global Watch, a DTI programme set up to assist UK companies with overseas business and technology development projects.  David’s experience also includes ten years with the Japanese energy company Osaka Gas working on a number of technical and business development projects related to energy, environmental technologies and materials.
